[Old Settlers' Parade 1947]

Description: Photograph of the Old Settlers parade held in Childress, Texas in 1947. The parade is being led by two men on horseback. Behind them are two more men on horseback holding flags followed by a line of cars and floats. The parade is traveling south on a busy street named "Commerce". Spectators line the street as the parade passes by. Some young boys are watching from the rooftop of a nearby restaurant.
