Sailor collar with V-shaped yoke insert which wraps around left shoulder; standing neckline of lace matching sleeve hem and insert on sailor collar. Center front placket has left side opening with button closure (all buttons missing). Belt loops at sides (belt missing). Unlined.

Dress

Description: Child’s "Flower Girl" dress made from pieces of Irish lace. Knee-length, the dress has a round neckline and short sleeves which are slit along the lower 7 1/2" of length. The lower part is slightly A-line with scalloped lower edge, and has one horizontal section mid-way between waist and hem made to have a ribbon threaded through. The center back opening has a 7 1/2" slit at neckline, and a single snap closure.

Description: Baby girl's white batiste cotton dress with lace and squared drawn work at the pin tucked neckline. Matching lace and drawn work at the cuff of the short puffed sleeves. Double row of squared drawn work around hem. Center back closure of three tiny mother-of-pearl buttons and loops. Cloth tape with blue script embroidered name: "Barbara Howell", for whom it was made.

Description: Dress of peach net covered in iridescent sequins. Wide, deep V-neckline with thick straps. Sleeveless. Scalloped hem, edges trimmed with rose colored glass beads. Description: Dress and slip. A: Dress of ivory white silk chiffon. Sleeveless with scoop neck, beading at neck, armscye, and in bands across the bust, waist, and hips.
