Description: Postcard of a street lined with trees in Clifton, Texas. A handwritten note on the back of the postcard is addressed to Lalla D. Stivers in Celina, Texas and says "Hello! Awful hot and dusty here. Am following the Bosque and Brazos Rivers and am finding plenty of gravel. Every mountain is gravel. May go fishing awhile tonight. Goodbye. Hamlett."

Description: Postcard from Henry to Mr. Fritz Adler, discussing his father's illness. He says that his father is still weak, but the doctor says if he pulls through the next two days, he will be out of danger. The front of the postcard features an perspective view illustration of a long, wide road. There are wooded areas on either side of the road, and the roof of a house is just barely visible in the wooded area on the right side.

Decatur Highway Underpass

Description: Decatur Highway underpass below the Santa Fe Railroad. The road is unpaved and right before the underpass, in the distance, two unidentified men are visible standing on either side of an automobile. The highway still exists and the present-day location of the underpass is now called 11614 Jim Christal Rd., Krum, Texas.

Description: Patent for road paving material with cement as a base and stones or gravel used as a topping. Asphalt is poured over the gravel to extend the life of the paving.

Culvert.

Description: Patent for metal road culvert improvements. Light weight, but sturdy, interlocking metal sheets are used. They can be stacked for cheaper and easier shipping. The culvert allows large amounts of water to flow through.
