Eagan to George Pendexter concerning Eagan's time spent with a fireman from Muskogee, Oklahoma and the opening of a new fire house in St. Louis: "#52 Auto Engine #18 Auto Truck." The photograph on the reverse side shows a group of firemen "making a quick hitch after open run in Court of Honor. Oct. 8, 1909." This team of firemen and their wagon are surrounded by a large crowd of people and patriotic decorations all around.
