Description: Photograph of the Midland post office, around 1895, possibly located at 108 East Missouri Avenue. Mae Dyer (standing) sorts through boxes of mail placed in small cubicles along the wall, and Minnie Sholte is seated to her right next to a large desk. In front of the desk is a young girl wearing a cowboy hat, seated on a chair. A gas lamp hangs from the roof of the ceiling, and baskets are placed along the walls.
