Description: Patent for an egg-crate that has "hinged sections, the middle section being composed of a solid block with cavities top and bottom corresponding with cavities formed in the lower and the top surface respectively of the upper and the lower portions which fit on opposite sides of the middle solid portion, the said three portions or sections being hinged together and provided with a suitable fastening" (lines 16-25).

Description: Patent for an improved box-fastener for cases and boxes that hold bottled liquids. The invention allows for the cover to be easily removed, and hangs on the side of the box when not being used. The cover can be used on an ordinary box without altering the box.
