Description: Paper, possibly an editorial, advocating new legislation to protect the citizens of Texas from the greed of national railway companies. It discusses the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company's intention to build a railroad which would injure existing towns by avoiding them and compete with Texas short line railroads.
