Description: Scrapbook of photographs belonging to Beulah Harriss, a 1914 graduate of the University of Nebraska, who came to Denton to teach at the North Texas State Normal College. She was the first woman to be hired into the athletics department of the school, coaching women's basketball among other sports. Description: Handwritten letter from Nora Janssen to Cecelia McKie thanking her for sending Janssen's sister's message from Manila. She tells McKie that the family had not heard from her sister since December 7, 1941 and that her sister had been teaching Manila for many years.
