Willie caught some rabbits. She ended the letter by wishing that her family could be together. A note was added on January 12 saying that Jim had refused to haul manure, demanded "his money" and left for town to put a "levy" on the sheep when he was not paid. The envelope was addressed to C. B. Moore, Melissa, Texas.
