Description:
Patent for providing "auxiliary fan blades attachable to a fan having permanent blades whereby to increase the fan surface, by attaching the auxiliary blades, or reducing the fan surface to its normal area by detaching the auxiliary blades" (lines 10-15). Its "intended for use in connection with the fan employed on the Ford car, although not limited to this particular use" (lines 16-19), including illustrations.
