Description: St. Elmo cash register. Picture was taken in the St. Elmo Barber Shop (next door to the old St. Elmo Hotel). The barber shop was owned by Aubrey Butler and J.D. Sullivan. Entire contents of the old St. Elmo Barber Shop are currently owned and preserved by John M. Greer, Henrietta, Texas. Picture dated 1960: Henrietta, Texas.

Description: Interview with Judge Ed Gossett, judge of the Criminal District Court in Dallas, Texas. In the first interview, Gossett discusses his childhood in Louisana and Texas, his undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin, his time as a lawyer and as district attorney for the 46th judicial district, and his election to Congress in 1938. The second interview includes Gossett's discussion of his tenure as a Congressman.
