Description: Patent for a new and improved cotton planter. This design "consists in a cotton planter constructed with a funnel-shaped hopper, supported by a plate and frame carried by wheels, and an axle driven by a worm and worm-wheel, and held erect by a stationary tube having a flaring upper end, and carrying the furrow-opening plow.
