[Military Train]

Description: Photograph of a Mexican Military Train. Written on the side of the train is "Ejercito Mexicano Tren Militar," which translates to "Mexican Military Army Train." This train has stopped at the Juarez train depot in Ciudad Juarez. The train car is protected by a wall of thick steal on all sides. [Mobile Cannon]

Description: Photograph of a cannon on a train car. This train car was specially modified to be able to carry and support this cannon. Because the railroad tracks were so easy to sabotage or to ambush, many of the railroad cars had to be outfitted with makeshift self defense mechanisms such as this cannon. Both the federals and revolutionaries destroyed many railroad lines in order to cut off supplies to the other side.
