Description: Photograph of the Carcel Publica in Ciudad Juarez. This is an up close photograph of the main entrance to the Carcel Publica (Public Jail) in Ciudad Juarez. This is the same building where the Juzgado Menor (Lower Courts) and the Juzgado De Letras (Trial Courts) were housed. Several men can be seen around the entrance of the building including an armed guard. There is also a small dog next to the man in the heavy black coat.
