Description: Letter from Truett Latimer to Dusty Rhodes discussing Wanda J. Reeves' case. Mr. Latimer informs him that the Board of Pardons and Paroles only grants emergency reprieves. He says the emergency reprieves are only given when the inmate is ill and cannot be treated in the prison or when a close family member of the inmate dies or gets critically ill.

He lets Mr. Guffey know that the Texas Department of Public Safety said they did not have a list of known communists in Texas. Mr. Latimer then suggests that he try getting in touch with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Abilene.
