[Antique Carriage in a Parade]

Description: Photograph of a black, old-fashioned carriage transporting costumed passengers in League City's sesquicentennial parade in honor of Texas' 150th birthday. The four passengers, seated in the rear cab of the carriage, are wearing clothing in the style of the mid-1800s. In keeping with the theme, the driver, who is seated in the front cab, is wearing a curly-haired wig. With the reins in hand, he drives the wagon down the major road in League City where the parade took place.

The photograph shows three firemen of Engine Co. 4 standing with their steamer engine in the snow in front of the fire station; the engine has wheels cut in half to act as skis in the snow.
