[Letter from Jane Shirar to D. W. Kempner, September 14, 1954]

Description: Letter from Jane Shirar to D. W. Kempner acknowledging receipt of a $20 check as a deposit for the Bev-Tex Pool. Initially, each member was to be assessed $20, but it was later decided to prorate deposits for firm memberships based on the initiation fee. Therefore, the deposit for a firm with five members is $50, or $10 per member, instead of $100. A $10 refund check is enclosed since Kempner is a member under the H. Kempner Company’s firm membership.
