[South side of the Zócalo]

Description: Photograph of the southern side of the Zócalo, or the main square in Mexico City also known as Plaza de la Constitución. Parked automobiles and people fill the southern edge of the main square. The "Portal de las Flores" currently known as the "Edificio De Gobierno De La Ciudad De Mexico" which translates to the Government Building of Mexico City can be seen across the street from the square. Adjacent to the government building is a portion of the Old City Hall Palace.

[Band Trip]

Description: Photograph of a group of female band members during a tour, posing in the bed of a truck; most of them are standing together and two women are seated on the edges. Lucile Turley and Vera Whetten (Pratt) are standing next to the truck, at left, and both are wearing sombrero-style hats with pom-pom fringe. There were boys in the band but they aren't included in the picture.
