A UH-1B Iroquois helicopter and several vehicles are parked in the pasture. Many small groups of individuals are gathered around the vehicles and what appears to be burnt ground and debris. A railroad track cuts through the pasture to the left. More vehicles are parked near a small pond that sits behind the crash.

Frank Strain (Mahala's second oldest child) is pictured with his wife and five children. Frank Strain was the porter on the first train to make a trip to Austin, a Houston and Texas Central train from Houston.

Description: Photograph of J. H. Hurst and L. L. Eddins at work at the Longview Texas & Pacific Railroad Station Depot in Longview, Texas. Mr. Eddins is seated at a desk to the left of the room, and Mr. Hurst is standing next to him, as noted on the back of the photograph. There is a furnace in the center of the room, and there is a book press on the right side of the room, sitting on top of a desk. This photograph was taken before the depot was moved to its current location at 905 East Pacific Avenue.
