[Seymour Fogel's House "Southwind" Exterior]

Description: Photograph of the exterior of Seymour Fogel's house "Southwind," located at 2411 Kinney Road in Austin, TX. A plaque outside the home provides more information: “Built circa 1880 as a stone barn by physician/inventor George Peter Hachenberg (1824-1904), this structure was converted in the early 1950s to a studio and family residence by artist/educator Seymour Fogel (1911-1984) who named it Southwind.” The home has since been restored.
