Description: Letter from Mose Newman to the S. D. Myres Saddle Company discussing the fact that he has lost fifty pounds and is returning his belts to the S. D. Myres Company to have them taken in four inches due to the fact that his waist is smaller after the weight loss. He also says that he rode using only saddles made by the S. D. Myres Saddle Company due to their superior quality until he stopped riding.

[Award for Sam Myres from the U.S. War Department]

Description: Certificate for "distinguished service" awarded to Sam Myres by the U.S. War Department for his donations of saddles and other gear to the military during World War I.
