Description: Large cranes and hoisting equipment remove metal debris in the port area after the 1947 Texas City Disaster. "Bisso WA 6200" is painted on the left-most hoisting mechanism. In the middle of the picture, beyond the hoisting equipment, is a small building labeled "Bisso". Several men can be seen looking at the damage. Wooden, concrete, metal and pipe debris are scattered.
