Description: Galveston National Bank check made out to L. D. Clepper for $16.05 and signed by W. K. McAlpine. The background of the check has a yellow seal in the center for the U.S. Internal Revenue and the text "Documentary Stamp" around the number 2 on either side of the seal. The back of the check is stamped with three stamps from the Galveston National Bank, the First National Bank, and Cle[..] House, and endorsed by L. D. Clepper and J. M. Callawary.
