Description: Letter from Erich Freund to Daniel W. Kempner discussing the toll of Fanny Fruend's death on his family and thanking Mr. Kempner for sending him and his wife a check to help with expenses. He informs Mr. Kempner that while his wife is no longer having issues with her Gallbladder, she is having issue with her heart that make it hard for her to continue her work in a factory. Mr. Freund is also having issue at work with the Hela Group, and is looking for new work.

There is handwritten text on the other side of the postcard to Miss Margaret Hallock in Derby, Connecticut.
