Description: Subscription receipt to A. S. Fields for 50 cents to pay for one month of the newspaper "The Daily Messenger" beginning June 1, 1892, signed by T. A. Ardis. An accompanying note by the dealer from whom the receipt was purchased states that A. S. Fields was a longtime Harrison County Clerk. Printed at the top left of the form: W. A. Adair, Proprietor.
