Alvis; Mr. Latimer assures that he would oppose any move to take away counties from their District Court but asks Mr. Alvis not to make his position known. He thinks they can keep the bill tied up in the committee and wants to avoid any possible fighting. He also mentions extending Highway 36 from Abilene to Roby which he says would need the full support of the people in Fisher County.
