[Letter from Daniel W. Kempner to Ernst Freund, January 6, 1950]

Letter from Daniel W. Kempner to Ernst Freund thanking him for a box of chocolate he had sent to Mr. and Mrs. Kempner. Mr. Kempner appears to lie in the letter and says his letter of December 29th "went astray". In reality, Mr. Kempner had mistakenly sent the thank you letter to Erich Freund.
