Description: Patent for improvements in corn-shellers in which it would be easily-operated and consists of “a semi-cylindrical trough having serrations upon the sides and bottom thereof, so that upon pushing the ear back and forth in the trough the corn will be scraped off.” (Lines 22-25) Illustration is included.

Correlation of Gravity of the Coal Creek Serpentine Mass, Blanco and Gillespie Counties, Texas

Description: Abstract: "Gravitational observations were made of the pre-Cambrian Coal Creek serpentine mass in Blanco and Gillespie Counties, Texas, the geology of which had been mapped previously. The observed gravitational anomalies indicate roughly the depth of the serpentine mass below which it may possibly grade into its parent peridotitic rock. Probable correlation between the gravitational map and the other geologic features of the area is indicated" (p. 151).
