Description: A group of 6 spoons from the 1893 Chicago "World's Columbian Exposition" world's fair. Silverplated souvenir teaspoons, each with scrolling forms on handle. Bowl of each spoon is engraved with a view of a different building from the exposition: U.S. Government Building; Horticultural Building; Mines and Mining Building; Machinery Hall; Transportation Building; Manufacturers & Liberal Arts [Building].

Fur felt hat

Description: Hat of mauve fur felt. Styled somewhat as a fedora, the cylindrical crown has a telescoped crown. Hatband of a wide band of golden satin ribbon and woven braid of gold, bronze, and silver. All tie at right with the braid ends becoming tassels. The wide brim curves up at front and left, down to right and back. Unlined; headband of pale peach. [Columbian Exposition Medal]

Description: Souvenir medal from the world's fair in Chicago. One side has an image of Christopher columbus wearing armor, with his arms outstretched as he makes landfall, with the text "Christopher Columbus Oct-XII MCCCCXCII" at right. On the reverse, there are a number of images around the central text: "World's Columbian Exposition in Commemoration of the Four-Hundredth Anniversary of the Landing of Columbus. Glass Axe

Description: Clear glass axe or hatchet, made at the Libbey Glass Company display as a souvenir of the 1893 Chicago World's Columbian Exposition. One side of blade with relief inscription "World's Fair / 1893"; other side of blade with relief portrait of George Washington, and inscription "The Father Of His Country". Description: Pair of pumps of black leather. Shoes with pointed toes, and cut-work on the vamp which is outlined and embellished with small bronze/copper colored beads.
