[Home in South Midland]

Description: Photograph of homes on the southern side of Midland in 1892. The home at right, one-story and gable-roofed with a windmill, sits on the corner of Kentucky Avenue and Baird Street, and was the early home of J. H. Mims. The house at left, mostly identical to Mims', was the early home of Fred Cowden. Bare grassland surrounds the homes.
